Tia Wurzrainer
Student Board Member

Tia Wurzrainer

Tia Wurzrainer has lived in Coupeville her entire life and because my parents own a local business she has had the opportunity to see how amazing this community is from various different perspectives.  She loves the great outdoors and enjoys skiing, horseback riding, swimming, hiking, and Whidbey’s sunsets. Tia also loves the camaraderie of team sports and plays soccer, basketball and tennis at the high school.  She is a member of the National Honor Society and a "Big" for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. In addition, she volunteers at the M-Bar-C Ranch and work at Kapaws Iskreme. All of these activities has given Tia a wonderful chance to be a part of, and interact with, the Coupeville community.  Her favorite subjects at school are English, History and Sciences.

Tia appreciates how the Coupeville community always comes out to support the schools and she looks forward to representing the student body on the Coupeville School Board. She intends to listen to all parties involved; students, teachers, administrators, parents and community members, because everyone has a unique perspective on how to continuously improve our schools. Tia is grateful for this opportunity.
