          Application Procedure

          Completed applications submitted online by the due date will be screened to determine candidates to be interviewed. An interview team will interview and then recommend for employment the person most qualified to fill the position.
          The supervisor for the position will conduct reference checks prior to making a final recommendation to the superintendent and Board of Directors.
          Applicants will be notified by the district when the position has been filled.

          Selection Procedure

          The applicant selected will be hired on a temporary basis, subject to favorable reporting from Washington State Patrol and FBI Fingerprint background checks.

          Substitutes Application

          Applications for certificated and classified substitutes are accepted online at any time. Human Resources will schedule a meeting with each substitute to review completed applications and district procedures.

        About Our Great District

        • The Coupeville School District is located on the central portion of Whidbey Island in Puget Sound, Washington. Our schools serve over 1,000 students on four campuses, which include our High School, Middle School, Elementary School and Open Den.

        CSD Land Acknowledgement

        • Coupeville Schools are located on the ancestral lands of the Lower Skagit people.  For thousands of years, Coast Salish tribes have stewarded these lands, waterways, plants, and animals.  We pay respect to the elders past, present, and emerging for they hold the memories, traditions, and culture of their people across the nation.  Coupeville Schools are committed to educating students, staff, and the community about this long history as we honor and acknowledge the continued presence of the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community, and all other Indigenous peoples.
