It is time for our school district to update our strategic plan which, once it is finished, will likely be in place to guide our school district for the next five years.  This plan is extremely important to us and we want a wide range of feedback and input from our students, staff, families, and the community.  We have such an opportunity for a new beginning in our school district as we come out of the past two years of COVID-19 and look to improve or even reinvent our schools.

Our current plan expires at the end of the 21-22 school year, so we are working through our process of creating a new plan as efficiently as possible. For this process, the district has hired an outside consultant, Mary Fertakis, through the Washington State School Directors Association (WSSDA).  Ms. Fertakis has a great deal of successful experience in consultant and facilitation work and has many years of experience in the strategic planning process.  

The Coupeville School District will continue to keep everyone informed about the creation of our new strategic plan and after the new plan is approved we will make it accessible to our entire school community.
