El Programa de Educación Migrante (MEP) es un programa federal que se implementó en CSD en 2019 para garantizar la educación equitativa de nuestros estudiantes migrantes.

¿Quién califica como estudiante migrante?

Cualquier estudiante que:

Tiene un tutor que trabaja en agricultura o acuicultura (pueden aplicarse algunas excepciones)
Se ha mudado a través de los límites del Distrito en el último año

Los estudiantes que se inscriben en el programa MEP de CSD son elegibles para recibir:

• programas de salud
• Involucramiento de los padres
• Datos y recopilación de estudiantes migrantes
• Oportunidades de liderazgo estudiantil
• Acumulación e intercambio de crédito secundario
• Diseminacion de informacion
• Navegación de recursos comunitarios y educativos

Consejo Asesor de Padres (PAC)

El PAC es una gran parte del programa MEP de las escuelas de Coupeville. El objetivo del PAC es proporcionar un espacio para compartir información, ideas y preguntas entre las familias migrantes y el distrito. El PAC está a cargo de determinar la dirección futura del MEP en Coupeville, así como la divulgación a nuevas familias.

The Migrant Education Program (MEP) is a federal program that has been implemented at CSD in 2019 to ensure the equal education of our migrant students. 

Who qualifies as a migrant student?

Any student that who:

• Has a guardian that works in agriculture or aquaculture (some exceptions may apply)
• Has moved across District boundaries in the last year

Students that enroll in CSD's MEP program are eligible to receive:

• Health programs
• Parental involvement
• Migrant student data and collection
• Student leadership opportunities
• Secondary credit accrual and exchange
• Dissemination of information
• Community and educational resource navigation

Parent Advisory Council (PAC)

The PAC is large portion of the MEP program the Coupeville Schools. The goal of the PAC is to provide a space for the sharing of information, ideas, and questions between migrant families and the district. The PAC is in charge of determining future direction of the MEP in Coupeville, as well as outreach to new families.
